AT THE END OF THE DAY

I was drawn to a lady that often summed up her statements with, “At the end of the day”I’m sure she doesn’t realize that she says this often, but it captured my attention and marinated in my soul

“At the end of the day” to me it meant – bottom line, when all is said & done, etc. “At the end of the day.” What will my life be like, at the end of the day?

When I look back at all the things that I thought were important
Was it really important, at the end of the day?

When I look back at all of my accomplishments, my degrees, or my material possessions. What will it matter, at the end of the day?

When I look back at the lessons I’ve taught my children
Will it have an impact, at the end of the day?

When I look back at the many articles that I have written
Will I have touched a life, at the end of the day?

When I think that everything has to be defined or have a meaning
What will it really mean to me, at the end of the day?

When I look back at my quest to defend myself and/or be understood by manI must remember that it is God that fights my battles, at the end of the day? NSBIG
